Overview

Vibrance '25 is the official website for VIT Chennai’s annual cultural fest. It was designed to engage thousands of students and attendees by showcasing event details, real-time schedules, and announcements in a smooth, mobile-friendly experience.

Problem

Past event websites were cluttered, difficult to navigate, and lacked real-time updates. This caused confusion during the fest. The goal was to create a reliable digital hub that reflected the energy of the event while staying informative and easy to use.

Solution

I designed a dynamic landing page that allowed users to:

• Explore events by category and timing

• Access schedules, updates, and results live

• Navigate easily on any device

• Register or get information without delay

My Approach

• Research: Audited previous sites and gathered feedback from organizers and students

• Structure: Created a scroll-based layout with anchors for fast section access

• Visual Design: Used vibrant colors, layered elements, and interactive animations

• Responsiveness: Focused on mobile-first design with consistent performance across screen sizes

• Content Management: Built for easy CMS updates by the event team

Outcome
