SpectoV

The Problem

SpectoV needed a lightweight, mobile-friendly way to showcase their products in detail, especially during events and investor demos. The app had to be fast, easy to navigate, and visually aligned with the futuristic aesthetic of the brand.

Outcome

The app helped SpectoV offer a hands-on product experience wherever they went. It became a key tool in investor pitches and exhibitions, and it extended their digital presence beyond the web with a sleek and functional mobile interface.

Case Study

Role: Product Designer

Overview

The SpectoV mobile app is a pocket showroom for the startup’s AR/VR products. It allows users to explore devices like DefXV smart glasses and the Guardian safety suite, view specs, watch demo clips, and take direct actions like booking a demo or making a purchase. The app was built to complement the main website and bring product interaction to mobile.

Solution

I designed a modular app interface that focused on visual product storytelling and quick interactions. Each product had its own detail page with images, videos, key specs, and clear actions. The layout was optimized for two UI styles — a clean, Material-based version for speed, and a glassmorphic version for branding.

My Approach

I designed the product pages to flow like a story. hero visual, key features, short clips, and action buttons. I balanced performance with style by keeping navigation simple and making media assets lightweight but impactful. The two UI skins were developed to give the team flexibility based on the use case — demo or deployment.

Key Features

  • Scrollable product showcases

  • Short embedded demo videos

  • Device specs and feature breakdowns

  • Demo booking and purchase CTAs

  • Two design modes: glassmorphic and material

  • Optimized for both performance and visual depth
