Overview

IamReadyAI is an all-in-one career acceleration platform that combines AI-powered mock interviews, job and internship discovery, and mental wellness support. Designed for students and professionals, it helps users build confidence, sharpen skills, and access opportunities tailored to their goals—while also offering recruiters smart tools to screen, assess, and hire top talent efficiently.

Approach

For IamReadyAI, I adopted a user-centric approach by first defining core user personas—students, recruiters, and mental health professionals. I then developed tailored user flows for each group, ensuring their unique needs and objectives were addressed effectively. Consistency in visual design and interaction patterns was maintained across all flows to deliver a cohesive and intuitive user experience throughout the platform.

Role: Product Designer (Solo)

Overview

IamReadyAI is a platform that blends AI-powered mock interview preparation, job discovery, and mental wellness for job seekers while giving companies intelligent tools for candidate screening, hiring, and engagement. The goal was to streamline hiring on both sides of the process by building a supportive and data-driven environment.

Problem

Job platforms often focus on listings alone. Candidates feel unprepared, while companies struggle with filtering and assessing cultural fit at scale. There was a need for a unified platform offering practice, discovery, and evaluation in one experience.

Solution

I designed IamReadyAI to solve this by:

  • Letting users practice mock interviews using an AI interviewer

  • Offering instant feedback and personalized tips

  • Enabling discovery of job roles aligned with strengths

  • Giving employers a dashboard to review candidate performance, send invites, and shortlist faster

My Approach

  • Research: Mapped out user types (candidates and recruiters) and their pain points

  • User Flows: Defined core paths-mock interview, job match, recruiter dashboard

  • Wireframes to UI: Started with mid-fidelity sketches, then designed a clean, neutral UI with subtle gradients and calm tones for user comfort

  • AI Integration: Designed natural conversational flows for mock interviews, error handling, and result interpretation

  • Recruiter Tools: Built out screens for filtering candidates by performance, behavior tags, and role-fit scores
