AION AI App Store

The design emphasizes clarity and discoverability. I structured the interface around categories, featured apps, and search filters to enable quick access and smooth navigation. Special focus was placed on scalability and minimal friction from discovery to installation.

One Day

Practice Project

Overview

AION is a curated AI app store that brings together a wide range of AI-powered tools and services under one platform. It’s designed for both tech enthusiasts and professionals to discover, explore, and use AI apps efficiently.

Approach

The design emphasizes clarity and discoverability. I structured the interface around categories, featured apps, and search filters to enable quick access and smooth navigation. Special focus was placed on scalability and minimal friction from discovery to installation.

Case Study

Role: UI Designer

Overview

AION is a concept for an AI app store where users can browse, test, and deploy production-ready AI tools. This was a one-page landing site designed for a friend’s contest entry. While it was a practice project, the goal was to create something polished and engaging that clearly communicated the app’s value in a single scroll.

Problem

The challenge was to explain a fairly complex idea — an AI app marketplace — in a way that felt easy, exciting, and accessible. The landing page needed to build curiosity, deliver the core message fast, and push users to sign up for early access.

Solution

I created a minimal but energetic layout that:

  • Introduced the product with a bold hero section

  • Highlighted key features like one-click trials and tool variety

  • Used animated micro-interactions to guide the user’s attention

  • Ended with a clear early-access sign-up prompt

My Approach

I kept the content light and visual. The design uses a dark base with vibrant gradients and glowing accents to create a futuristic, AI-inspired aesthetic. Typography was kept clean and readable, and each section was structured to tell a short part of the product story. I used hover animations and scroll transitions to add a sense of depth without overwhelming the user.

Key Features

  • Punchy hero section with brand messaging

  • Feature highlights with icons and brief copy

  • Early access form for lead generation

  • Smooth scroll experience with micro-interactions

  • Mobile-optimized layout for fast browsing

Outcome

The result was a sleek and informative landing page that helped position the idea clearly. Though it was built for practice, the design received positive feedback and served as a great exercise in simplifying complex product messaging.
